VMD Corp is seeking an experienced Insider Threat Analyst to support the FBI’s Insider Threat Office. The role involves contributing to the detection, deterrence, and mitigation of internal risks within the organization through specialized analysis and intelligence reporting.

Responsibilities

Provide specialized analysis and production support

Deliver intelligence and threat analysis tailored to Insider Threat Office (InTO) requirements

Review and evaluate incoming reports, collection plans, and intelligence programs

Write clear, concise, and timely reports by interpreting and synthesizing diverse data sources

Develop technical support documents, summaries, reports, presentations, and other required deliverables

Present briefings to stakeholders as designated by program leadership

Identify and utilize relevant data sources to clarify or corroborate investigative initiatives

Access both classified and open-source databases

Research and analyze data from designated systems and databases to identify relevant information, organize findings, and format reports per InTO Standard Operating Procedures

Required

Bachelor's degree OR minimum of 4 years of military or federal service (may substitute for degree)

At least 4 years of direct experience performing administrative, analytical, or research tasks related to national or operational security

Proficient in standard computer applications, including Microsoft Office and web browsers such as Google Chrome

Active Top Secret/SCI with the ability to obtain a Counterintelligence Polygraph

Preferred

Proficiency or exposure to programming/scripting languages such as SQL, Python, and C++

Relevant cybersecurity or technical certifications are a plus

Experience with Data Loss Prevention (DLP), User and Entity Behavior Analytics (UEBA/UPA), log analysis, and communications monitoring

Strong skills in data management, transformation, and manipulation

Experience with threat hunting

Familiarity with Microsoft Azure cloud environments

Working knowledge of Power BI is highly desirable
