Dig for data
Puzzle out the form that will represent that data in the most appealing and accurate way, for print and web
Work with editors to find the chart that best fits an article
Collaborate with journalists, copy editors, art directors and fellow team members
Pitch own ideas for charts, standalone and feature stories
Qualification
Required
Experience in creating charts and data visualization
Ability to work collaboratively with editors, journalists, and art directors
Strong understanding of how to represent data accurately and appealingly
Proficiency in both print and web formats
