This role involves implementing, maintaining, and testing rating logic within Ratabase and proprietary rating systems, while collaborating with various teams to ensure accurate deployment of rating changes for commercial lines products.

Responsibilities

Configure and maintain rating logic in Ratabase for commercial lines products

Implement ISO circular updates and assist with regulatory rate filings

Collaborate with product managers to translate business requirements into rating rules

Perform unit testing and validation of rating changes

Document configuration changes and maintain version control

Support QA and UAT processes for rating updates

Coordinate with external partners and internal teams to ensure timely and accurate deployment of changes

Assist in troubleshooting rating discrepancies and system issues

Required

Bachelor's degree in Business, Insurance, Finance, Economics, Actuarial Science, or related fields

At least two years of work experience in insurance rating systems, preferably Ratabase

Familiarity with commercial lines products (Workers' Compensation, General Liability, Property, Auto)

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Understanding of property and casualty insurance rating principles and methodologies

Ability to read and interpret rating manuals and actuarial documentation

Excellent communication and documentation skills

Preferred

Experience with ISO (Insurance Services Office) content and circular implementation
