Responsibilities
Functions as liaison with department(s) college wide to schedule the delivery of assets from Shipping & Receiving
Ensures tagged assets are properly marked on the asset itself
Records and manages fleet vehicles in recoup per state guidelines
Physically delivers and retrieves fleet vehicles from various repair locations
Utilizes forklift to make deliveries in Shipping & Receiving and loading surplus trucks to the Louisiana Property Assistance Agency (LPAA)
Coordinates the retrieval, storage and disposal of college surplus property
Assist in record keeping and final disposal for tracking purposes. This position requires extensive working knowledge of usage of forklift and other heavy machinery
Qualification
Required
One year of experience in mobile equipment operations
Extensive working knowledge of usage of forklift and other heavy machinery
Possess a valid Louisiana Driver's License
Experience operating a forklift or willingness to be trained
