They are seeking a Freelance Editor to provide constructive feedback on students' essays, including outlines and drafts, while managing an expected workload based on availability.

Responsibilities
Review outlines or rough drafts and provide students with constructive advice on the essay's main idea, structure, and style. Expected turnaround in two days
Review complete drafts and provide feedback on writing. Expected turnaround in three days
Compile general suggestions on writing improvement, based on students' drafts
Workload assigned based on editor's availability as communicated to management
Qualification
Required
An undergraduate degree from a university where English is the mode of instruction
Experienced in academic writing. A grade of A or A- in college-level English writing courses or writing-intensive liberal arts courses
Basic proficiency with Microsoft Word (such as using the 'Track Changes' and 'Comment' functions) and stable internet access
Bandwidth to work on at least three essays a week from June to March
Preferred
Experienced in creative or personal narrative writing
Experienced in teaching or tutoring high school English, high school social studies, or English as a Second Language (ESL)
