Responsibilities

Supporting remedial and process engineering projects and teams to fill data gaps, design, construct, operate, and optimize systems
Planning and performing assessments, pilot tests, construction oversight, and remedy O&M
Evaluating data from aquifer tests, pilot studies, bench testing, sampling events, and modeling to develop remedial strategies
Preparing design basis, technology feasibility analyses and selection, and design plans, specifications, and reports
Communicating with regulatory personnel and permitting agencies to ensure compliance with project requirements and applicable regulations
Preparing proposals, cost estimates, and long-term projections for remediation projects

Required

Bachelor's degree from an ABET-accredited college in Civil, Chemical, Mechanical, or Environmental Engineering
4-8 years of relevant experience required
EIT required
Strong knowledge of FDEP, CERCLA, RCRA, and other environmental regulations, legislation, and SOPs
Hands-on experience with remediation technologies and O&M for soil, groundwater, stormwater, industrial wastewater, and air for a wide range of contaminants
Strong consulting, problem-solving, and leadership skills
A valid driver's license
Ability to travel overnight

Preferred

P.E. preferred
Experience with remedial system instrumentation and controls, and remote telemetry a plus
