They are seeking a Project Manager – Water/Wastewater (PE) to lead multidisciplinary teams, manage client relationships, and oversee the planning and execution of water and wastewater infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities
Lead the preparation of engineering reports, design documents, and technical specifications
Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources across multidisciplinary teams
Serve as lead engineer on stormwater and wastewater projects
Build and maintain strong client relationships through consistent communication and high-quality delivery
Mentor and develop junior engineering staff
Ensure adherence to standard engineering practices and documentation requirements
Evaluate evolving water, wastewater, and stormwater regulations and assess municipal impacts
Provide technical support related to resiliency and sustainability design elements
Interpret engineering drawings and specifications and coordinate closely with internal design teams
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering
Active Professional Engineer (PE) license
Minimum of five (5) years of experience managing water and wastewater infrastructure projects
Experience with hydraulic modeling and civil design tools (e.g., AutoCAD Civil 3D)
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Willingness to travel periodically (approximately 15% or more)
Preferred
Experience working with municipal or utility clients
Familiarity with Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy (EGLE) regulations
Prior experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
