Qualification
Required
10+ years of experience in Mainframe Cobol development
Knowledge of mainframe architecture including JES, VSAM files, and Batch processing
Experience with mainframe tools TSO, JCL, CA7
Able to provide 24 x 7 on call Support on a rotational basis
Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, work, and/or military experience
Preferred
Knowledge of transmission software; such as Connect Direct or NDM
Able to stay current on company products, policies, procedures, and system enhancements
Able to make decisions and solve problems that are general in nature and for which there are precedents
Certificate or formal training in mainframe development technologies
Experience in the financial services industry
