Colliers Engineering & Design is a trusted provider of multi-discipline engineering, design and consulting services. They are seeking a highly-motivated intern to assist technical staff on day-to-day projects, including reading project drawings, observing project sites, and preparing reports.

Responsibilities

Our interns will assist technical staff on day-to-day projects

Read and review project drawings and plans

Confer with project managers during planning, design, and construction phases

Observe project sites and document contractor progress

Prepare reports and document project activities and data

Prepare analyses from collected data

Set up and help maintain project files and records

In addition to the work-centered program, we also offer robust internship programming, which includes opportunities to work with other interns, learn about other areas of the business, and develop valuable communication skills and networking connections

Required

Pursuing a Bachelor of Science or Master's Degree in Construction Management, Architecture, or Civil Engineering

Must have reliable transportation to the office and project sites across the State

Possess solid problem-solving skills

Must be able to work in a high-paced environment

Excellent Written and verbal communication skills

A valid driver's license and good driving record required

Ability to read, write and understand English for purposes of comprehending written job-related communications and verbal instructions and interactions

Preferred

Previous intern or co-op experience in Project or Construction management preferred
