Financial System Analyst

Responsibilities

Serve as an administrator for Adaptive Planning, ensuring system integrity, accuracy, and performance
Maintain and update models, dimensions, and hierarchies to support budgeting, forecasting, and reporting needs
Develop and automate reports, dashboards, and templates for finance and business stakeholders
Troubleshoot system issues and coordinate with IT or external vendors for resolution
Lead system upgrades, testing, and implementation of new features or enhancements
Train finance team members and end-users on Adaptive functionality and best practices
Collaborate with department leaders to provide financial insights and analysis that drive decision-making
Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for assigned business units
Prepare and present financial reports, highlighting trends, risks, and opportunities
Support ad hoc analysis and strategic initiatives across the organization

Required

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field
2 years of experience in financial systems administration and FP&A roles
Hands-on experience with Adaptive Insights (Workday Adaptive Planning) required
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Advanced proficiency in Excel and familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics, JDE)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work cross-functionally
Experience with financial modeling and scenario planning
Knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
