Akkodis is seeking a Director of Program Management for a full-time onsite opportunity. The Director will lead and expand the Project Management Office (PMO) to ensure successful delivery of large-scale initiatives while driving measurable business results.

Responsibilities

Oversee the entire program portfolio, aligning priorities with organizational goals and client commitments

Establish and refine PMO standards, governance frameworks, and lifecycle processes to ensure consistent, scalable delivery

Build and nurture a high-performing team of Project Managers and Analysts, setting clear expectations and career development paths

Provide mentorship, coaching, and resource planning to maintain optimal staffing levels across projects

Assign and support Project Managers on client engagements, offering guidance and resolving escalations

Conduct regular project reviews to validate timelines, budgets, and scope; intervene when necessary to maintain progress

Manage full project lifecycle, including commissioning and operational handoff of equipment

Required

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; advanced degree preferred

10+ years of progressive experience in program/project management, including leadership roles managing multimillion-dollar initiatives

Strong financial management skills with experience in budgeting and forecasting

Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence senior stakeholders

Excellent communication skills, including experience presenting to executive leadership

Proficiency in project management tools and business software; PMP or similar certification preferred

Eligibility to work in the U.S. and ability to travel occasionally

Preferred

Experience establishing or scaling a PMO in a high-growth or enterprise setting

Background in regulated industries or environments with stringent safety and quality standards

Familiarity with hybrid delivery models (Waterfall + Agile) and governance best practices
