As an Accounting Clerk, you will support the Accounting Department with accounts payable, bank reconciliations, and general accounting tasks, ensuring accurate and timely financial processes.

Responsibilities

Process a high volume of invoices accurately and efficiently

Verify and obtain proper approvals for all payables

Maintain vendor records and respond to vendor inquiries promptly

Monitor accounts to ensure timely payments and resolve discrepancies

Assist with month-end accruals related to accounts payable

Perform monthly and weekly bank reconciliations for multiple accounts

Investigate and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner

Record journal entries to correct reconciliation variances

Ensure all bank transactions are accurately reflected in the general ledger

Assist with month-end close procedures and reporting

Provide support for audits and special projects as needed

Perform additional accounting and administrative duties as assigned
