Responsibilities

Support both pre‑design and design phases on small to medium‑sized projects, which may include a mix of commercial and institutional buildings or be dedicated exclusively to healthcare facilities

Perform energy modeling using tools like EnergyPro or IES VE

Develop single-line diagrams and load schedules

Design lighting systems and controls

Engineer normal, emergency, and renewable power systems

Conduct Arc Flash, Short Circuit, and Coordination Power System Studies to ensure safe and efficient electrical infrastructure

Required

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering field

3-6 years of engineering design experience post-graduation or equivalent professional experience

Proficient in Revit and AutoCAD

Familiarity with the California Building Code and the National Electrical Code

Strong command of Microsoft Office, Newforma, and engineering software tools

Experience in Power System Analysis (Arc Flash and Short Circuit Coordination)

Experience with ETAP/SKM

Preferred

Engineer-In-Training (EIT) Certification

LEED Accreditation

PE License

Membership in professional engineering associations

Experience with Net Zero Energy/Carbon design

Project management experience

HCAI experience
