The CDL Yard Jockey is responsible for managing trailer movements within the yard to ensure timely servicing of production lines and maintaining operational flow.

Responsibilities

Anticipate the needs of the production line and service them accordingly via trailer movements to required dock door

Manage the trailer movement within the KIK Facility via a Yard Mule (Tractor)

Perform tractor inspections and preventative maintenance before, during and after trips. Maintain accurate records

When directed, operate a forklift truck as necessary

Required

High School Diploma or equivalent

Valid Driver license (clean MVR) and medical card required

A minimum of 5 years' commercial driving experience with a current Class A CDL qualification (Hazmat and Tanker or X endorsement a plus)

Will operate forklift, hand truck or other equipment to load and transport goods

Lift certification will be required

Excellent Verbal and Written communication skills

Basic computer skills
