Hyatt Vacation Club is a leader in the vacation ownership industry, seeking motivated individuals to join their sales and marketing team. The Event Sales & Marketing Agent will promote the Hyatt Vacation Club Program at various events and off-property locations, offering guests financial incentives to learn about the program.

Responsibilities

Schedule sales presentations or offer specially priced vacation packages to guests attending an event and at off-site locations such as shopping malls and airports

Provide the highest level of service to exceed budgeted sales presentations and volume production goals

Ensure that all guests who attend a sales presentation or purchase a vacation package meet eligibility requirements and are open to learning more about Hyatt Vacation Club products and services

Welcome and greet guests; anticipate and address their needs

Interact with colleagues and guests professionally and promptly

Contribute to team goals

Always follow company policies and safety procedures

Required

Motivated individuals with outgoing personalities

Ability to work with guests while attending events and at off-property locations

Ability to offer guests financial incentives in exchange for learning about the points-based ownership product

Must be available to attend events throughout Orange County and Los Angeles County

Successful candidates will be highly motivated

Enjoy interacting with guests either in person or by phone

Position may require background and drug screening contingent on company policy in accordance with applicable legal requirements

Reach overhead and below the knees, perform bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping

Be able to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time

May be asked to operate company vehicles following company policies and standards

Preferred

Sales or customer service experience preferred

Available to work a flexible schedule to include weekends and holidays
