Senior Business Analyst - Charlotte, NC (W2 only)

They are seeking a strong Business Analyst with excellent SQL/Redshift and ETL skills to design and optimize data processing solutions. The role involves collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure successful project outcomes.

Responsibilities
Design, develop, and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions to support data processing and analytics
Build, maintain, and enhance ETL pipelines using Redshift and other AWS data services
Collaborate closely with customers and internal stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements
Translate business needs into scalable technical solutions within the AWS/Redshift ecosystem
Coordinate with cross‑functional teams to ensure smooth delivery of data solutions
Perform data validation, troubleshooting, and performance tuning across databases and ETL jobs
Prepare clear documentation, reports, and presentations for both technical and non‑technical audiences
Act as a liaison between business users and technical teams to ensure alignment and successful project outcomes
Qualification
Required
Strong proficiency in SQL, including stored procedures, functions, and performance optimization
Hands‑on experience with Amazon Redshift and the broader AWS ecosystem (e.g., S3, EC2)
Solid understanding of ETL concepts, data modeling, and data warehousing best practices
Business Analysis skills, including requirement gathering, process mapping, and stakeholder communication
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to explain complex concepts clearly
Proven experience in customer coordination and managing expectations
Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem‑solving abilities
