Responsibilities

Performs design of structural components and functional systems
Makes thoughtful and valuable suggestions and recommendations for improving own work and/or group’s work
Establish requirements for materials, structural components, and functional systems
Release results as design data after review from other engineers
Document results of design activities

Required

Requires Bachelors or Masters in STEM, Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering strongly preferred
Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance which requires US Citizenship as a pre-requisite
Excellent interpersonal, communication, writing, presentation and critical thinking skills
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Power Point)
Requires Bachelors in STEM plus 2 years of related experience. Will consider those with a Masters degree in STEM and 0 or more years of related experience. Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering strongly preferred
US Citizenship as a pre-requisite
Excellent interpersonal, communication, writing, presentation and critical thinking skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Power Point)
Working knowledge of computer aided design (CAD) software
Knowledge of ASME Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
