Responsibilities
Assist in daily, monthly, and/or quarterly accounting tasks such as journal entries, report generation and analysis, tax or compliance activities, accounts payable functions, and/or reconciliations
Support the Accounting department with cross-functional project initiatives
Participate in company-wide intern program activities
Provide backup for employees on vacation for short periods
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Must be currently enrolled and have completed at least 60 credit hours with an accredited college or university
Completion of basic accounting courses required with at least 60 credit hours completed prior to the start of the internship
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required (e.g., ability to create pivot tables, vlookups, additional advanced formulas)
Ability to work independently and demonstrate problem solving skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
