2+ years expFlooring Careers is a privately owned multi-store flooring business that has served North Carolina for over 40 years. They are seeking an on-site Accounting Manager to join their Raleigh office and support their growing operations.

Responsibilities
Manage and perform month-end close activities, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations (bank, credit cards, payroll, and balance sheet accounts)
Maintain general ledger accuracy and prepare timely financial reports
Prepare and oversee monthly revenue, operating performance, and expense reports, including review of staff-prepared work
Assist with internal management reports, budgets, and forecasts
Oversee day-to-day AP, AR, and payroll support activities
Review vendor statements, customer balances, and aging reports
Support internal controls, process improvements, audits, and tax requests
Work closely with and support an accounting team of 1–2 staff members
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
2–4 years of well-rounded, full-cycle accounting experience
Month-end close and financial reporting experience
Intermediate to advanced Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, lookups)
Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills
A valid driver's license, with reliable transportation to and from work
Be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen
Be able to sit for long periods, standing and using limbs/fingers to perform necessary job functions
Able to work, M-F, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM in an office setting. This is not a remote position
Preferred
Experience in flooring, construction, or building materials
QFloors (current ERP), RFMS (former ERP), or Paylocity (Payroll) experience
