Senior Associate, Federal Finance Transformation
KPMG is a leading firm in the advisory practice and is currently seeking a Senior Associate to join their Federal Advisory practice. The role involves reviewing financial processes, guiding team analysis, managing project lifecycles, and developing solutions for financial data issues.

Responsibilities
Review and evaluate financial risk, financial reporting, and accounting transactions processes including controls related to federal entities
Provide guidance to a small team to analyze data, financial information, and system outputs and determine their effect on business processes, controls and accounting treatment
Manage across the project lifecycle including assisting with scope definition, business case development, vendor assessment, requirements gathering, functional and technical design, testing, training, and implementation phases
Identify and develop solutions for financial data and system issues related to posting logic, USSGL compliance, data management, and processes
Review work performed by other staff and engage with Project Manager on engagement matters
Contribute to design, preparation, and analysis of reports / findings in a clear, logical, and concise manner
Qualification
Required
A minimum of three years of federal financial management / transformation experience
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university; CPA, and/or CGFM or CDFM certifications preferred
Experience in the preparation, review, and analysis of financial statements / documents for U.S. Federal government entities
Experience with FASAB, GAO, FAR, FMR, CFR, Treasury, and OMB
Experience with Data Querying, Analytics, Visualization, or RPA tools (e.g. SQL, Tableau, PowerBI, Alteryx, Python, UiPath, etc.)
Ability to travel as required to support firm engagements
Initial project will be located in the St. Louis, MO region, requires daily on-site presence
Applicant must possess a U.S. Government Secret clearance
