Responsibilities
Perform structural analysis and design calculations to ensure safety and efficiency
Develop bridge layouts, structural details, 3D models, construction plans, specifications and material quantity calculations
Utilize industry-leading software (Finite Element, CSIBridge, AutoCad, MicroStation, SAP2000 and more)
Coordinate with highway, traffic, and civil engineers to deliver multi-disciplinary solutions
Other responsibilities as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on bridges or structures from an ABET Accredited University
Minimum range of 2-8 years of bridge design and analysis experience
Excellent verbal and written and presentation skills
Client focused, always striving to give clients the best solutions
High levels of integrity, always doing the right thing in an ethical, fair, and sustainable way
Demonstrated experience of collaboration in a diverse and inclusive team, working together toward technical excellence
Preferred
Master's degree
PE license, or the ability to obtain within one year
Familiarity with AASHTO, and DOT design and standards from agencies such as VDOT, DDOT, NJDOT
Experience applying engineering software such as MicroStation, AutoCAD, CSI Bridge, VBridge, LPile, LEAPBridge, SAP2000, etc
