Responsibilities

Lead and develop an organization of senior professionals responsible for enterprise release governance, readiness, and execution across multiple products and platforms
Own the operating model for release management, including governance standards, escalation paths, decision frameworks, and performance expectations
Serve as the senior escalation point for high-impact or high-risk release events, providing leadership, prioritization, and decision support to internal teams and senior stakeholders
Partner closely with Product Management, Engineering, Quality Engineering, Architecture, and Operations to align release strategy with business priorities and technical readiness
Drive continuous improvement of release processes, tooling, and metrics to improve predictability, quality, and production stability
Recruit, develop, and retain high-performing release leaders, with a focus on coaching judgment, accountability, and operational excellence
Foster a culture of inclusion, transparency, and continuous learning across the release organization

Required

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience
7+ years of experience in software delivery, release engineering, DevOps, or technical product management within large-scale Agile environments
4+ years of experience leading managers and/or highly specialized technical teams
Demonstrated experience leading teams responsible for production-impacting systems or enterprise delivery outcomes
Strong executive communication skills and the ability to lead through influence across complex organizations
Experience leading enterprise or platform-level release operations
Familiarity with release governance, change management, and production risk management practices
Experience working with tools such as Jira, ServiceNow Change Management, release calendars, and test management platforms
Experience leveraging automation or AI-enabled tools to improve operational efficiency
At least 18 years of age
Legally authorized to work in the United States
