Lead IT Engineer - End User Support 4848
Tier4 Group is a technology organization operating a high-availability, business-critical platform, and they are seeking a Lead IT Engineer to take ownership of IT infrastructure and End User Support operations. The role involves managing IT systems, providing support to employees, and ensuring the security and compliance of IT operations.
Responsibilities
Own and manage company-wide IT infrastructure across Mac and Windows environments
Administer Okta for SSO, MFA, and identity and access management
Manage Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 , including security, access, and user support
Oversee domain management , DNS, SSL certificates, and internal network configurations
Lead office IT operations including hardware provisioning, networking, printers, and telecom systems
Provide hands-on helpdesk support for on-site and remote employees
Manage IT ticketing workflows and ensure timely resolution of issues
Implement and monitor security controls, endpoint protection, and compliance best practices
Manage IT vendors, contracts, licensing , and assist with IT budgeting
Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to IT team members and vendors
Qualification
Required
10+ years of experience in IT end user support operations
Strong hands-on experience supporting both Mac and Windows environments
Proven expertise administering Okta (SSO, MFA, IAM)
Experience managing Google Workspace and Microsoft 365
Experience supporting both on-site and remote users, including hardware provisioning
Preferred
Experience with JumpCloud
Prior ownership of full IT infrastructure and operations
Experience in security-conscious or high-availability environments
