Responsibilities
Take ownership of sourcing and contracting for a portfolio of large-scale capital projects, valued at $500 million+ each, as well as medium-sized projects
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support a variety of spend categories, including Architectural & Engineering services, Construction Management, Automation Integration, Commissioning, Quality & Validation, and General Construction
Lead the end-to-end contracting process: select templates, negotiate terms, create contracts, and manage ongoing contract needs
Drive and implement sourcing strategies and purchasing solutions for the company’s U.S. Operations, ensuring best-in-class results
Serve as the go-to expert for procurement processes and systems, ensuring compliance and supporting project delivery teams
Execute e-sourcing (eRFX) for Capital Construction and Equipment teams, leveraging leading tools like Ariba and Sirion
Build strong partnerships with business leaders, Finance, and other functional teams to deliver value and support organizational goals
Manage contract documents, support renewals and renegotiations, and ensure procurement policies are followed
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree and 7+ years of strategic sourcing or capital procurement experience
Hands-on experience with GMP pharmaceutical manufacturing and capital construction projects
Proven track record writing master agreements, orders, and amendments
Expertise with e-procurement tools (especially Ariba) and managing competitive RFPs and contract execution
Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
Flexibility and agility to manage a portfolio of projects and adapt to changing priorities
Preferred
Experience in sourcing, contracting, and project management, with an emphasis on negotiations
Background as a Sourcing or Procurement Lead on multiple project delivery teams
Familiarity with SAP, Sirion, Scout, and construction within the pharma industry is a plus
Knowledge of capital project sourcing processes, supplier negotiations, and e-sourcing tools
