Responsibilities
Directly manages the accounting team
Supervises operations of accounting activities
Develops and implements controls for accounting procedures and systems
Maintains all documents related to the accounting function
Prepares financial reports
Identifies and resolves accounting issues
Produces, collects and analyzes financial information
Develops financial models and analyses
Manages the preparation of the company's budget
Takes part in decisions related to corporate financing
Manages tax returns, financial statements and period closings
Prepares verification audits and coordinate auditor activities
Ensure that sufficient funds are available to meet ongoing operational and capital investment requirements
Responsible for all day-to-day treasury functions
Maintains banking relationships
Manages requests for the annual audit with CPA firm; responsible for any other ad-hoc audit requests
Assists in determining the company's proper capital structure
Engages in ongoing cost reduction analyses in all areas of the company
Collaborating with IT department to maintain financial records and system processes
Creates additional analyses and reports as requested by management
Performs other duties and projects as assigned
Qualification
Required
Strong leadership skills
Technical accounting expertise
Experience managing consolidated financial reporting
Experience managing intercompany transactions
Experience with tax compliance
Experience with financial analysis
Ability to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
Ability to ensure compliance with accounting standards
Ability to ensure operational efficiency
