Responsibilities

Responsible for ensuring that products shipped meet all product specifications. This includes inspecting incoming materials, manufactured parts, purchased parts and outside service parts
Performs first article inspections and completes all associated documentation
Must have a complete understanding of inspection tools and how to use them
Participates in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Corrective & Preventive Actions (CAPA)
Participate in MRB process, determining dispositions of nonconforming materials or products
Participate in NCMR and RMA processes and tracking progress on all items
Manage CAR-NCR log, keeping it accurate and up to date
Manage and schedule equipment calibration, ensuring accuracy and compliance with standards. Responsibilities include maintaining calibration records, coordinating with external vendors, managing work orders, and preparing for audits
Must be knowledgeable in ISO Standards and objectives to maintain and reinforce as needed
Responsible for maintaining and recording accurate quality documentation
Must be able to work extended hours when required
Maintain a safe and clean working environment, complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
Performs all other duties as assigned

Required

Minimum High School degree or equivalent
Minimum three years of quality and or manufacturing experience
Must be a self-starter, able to think and act independent of supervisor, and able to innovate solutions to day-to-day problems
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
Task requires comprehension of high school math, reading, and writing skills
Must be honest, reliable and conscientious
Must be able to perform computer work
Must be knowledgeable in Microsoft Excel, Word, e-mail
Must be able to work well with others
Must be able to read and understand Fabrication blueprints and Machining blueprints including Basic GD&T
Tasks require walking, bending, climbing, lifting and standing for long periods of time
Tasks require the use of small hand tools, instruments and materials 80% of the time
Tasks require visual inspection and reading measurement tools and instruments
Tasks require flexibility and adaptability at a rapid pace

Preferred

Experience with metal stamping, machining, forming and assembly highly preferred
