Mid LevelIDEALFORCE is seeking a Procurement Analyst 2 to join their customer in Phoenix, AZ. The role involves ensuring that IT products and services are procured in the best interest of the state, including evaluating IT vendors and contracts, and supporting business areas in negotiations.

Responsibilities
Ensure that products and services are procured in the best interest of the state
Obtain information technology (IT) related goods and services required by the agency
Evaluate IT vendors and contracts including the Requests for Quotes (RFQ), Request for Proposals (RFP) and Requests for Information (RFI)
Work on projects requiring research, negotiation skills, and evaluation of services
Provide recommendation of supplier selections based on research
Support the business areas in evaluations of goods or services and provide support in negotiations
Responsible at an agency-wide level for the financial and procurement functions related to IT products and services
Procure Software, Software as a Service (SaaS), Hardware (Desktop, Data Center), Cloud Infrastructure, Telecommunications, IT implementation, Advisory and Managed Services, and new and emerging technologies
Qualification
Required
Procurement experience (must be displayed on resume)
IT Asset Management
Software Licensing experience
Preferred
Present reports on data
Google Workstation
Excel experience
Invoice experience
