Post-Doctoral Fellow - Ag Economics & Rural Sociology (Worosz)
Auburn University is seeking a postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Agricultural Economics and Rural Sociology to conduct innovative socioeconomic research. Collect and analyze data for an economic model that will lead to a decision-support tool for farmers
Monitor and track the growth of convergence among the team members
Qualification
Required
Earned Ph.D. in agricultural economics, environmental economics, environmental studies, science and technology studies, economic or cultural geography, sociology, or rural sociology
Prior research in agrifood systems studies
Experience working with data in Excel
Valid driver's license
Ability to drive and work independently
Eligibility requirements for work in the United States by the start date
Ability to continue working legally for the proposed term of employment
Preferred
Ability to work with large amounts of qualitative data
Excellent command of qualitative software
Previous involvement in the creation of Extension and outreach products
Interest in agriculture and rural prosperity
