InternTumbling Dumpling Media is offering an unpaid remote internship designed for college students or recent graduates. Interns will work closely with Ying Compestine, gaining exposure to the creative world with a business emphasis while developing essential skills such as market research, writing, and editing.
Writing & Editing
Responsibilities
Researching, writing, editing, and drafting business emails to movie studios, editors, and agents on behalf of the author
Managing the author's travel schedule
Organizing publicity photos
Updating the author's social media (Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter)
Processing financial statements, tracking payments, and preparing invoices
Supporting manuscripts in various stages of development
Staying current with publishing trends, industry changes, and entertainment
Qualification
Required
Applicants must be in college or recent graduates
Applicants must be located in the US
Mastery of Gmail, Google Drive, Microsoft Word, and PowerPoint
Proficient with Adobe Products such as Photoshop, Premiere, or other similar apps
Proficient with Canva or other graphic design products
Proficient with various social media platforms (Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter) and mobile technology (smartphone, tablet)
Excellent memory and time management skills with the ability to multitask
Top-notch organizational, verbal, and written communication skills
Adaptive and flexible personality with the ability to adjust with a can-do attitude
Must be self-directed and independent in a busy environment
Able to anticipate needs and deliver timely, relevant solutions and actions
Extremely detail-oriented, ensuring their daily responsibilities are executed with accuracy and minimal mistakes
