Responsibilities
Work directly with our members via videoconference, phone, and email
Guide members through SoFi’s unique planning experience that will address everything from modular advice (i.e. best way to pay down debt) to comprehensive financial planning
Develop specific recommendations based on the member’s unique circumstances and SoFi’s house views on planning topics
Present specific recommendations to the member that includes their next best action, whether it relates to a SoFi product or not
Collaborate with team members to leverage member feedback and industry knowledge to refine our planning experience (we are big on continual improvement)
Qualification
Required
3+ years of experience of providing tailored financial recommendations to people
Knowledge of key financial planning and investment concepts
Member first mindset- our planners are salaried fiduciaries
Licenses: Series 7 and 65
Credentials: CFP® designation
Must be computer literate with the ability to talk and type
Great telephone skills including communicating clearly and effectively
Ability to learn and navigate multiple systems / applications / workflows
Self-motivated and able to work independently
Excellent organizational, prioritization, and time management skills
Education: Bachelor's degree or higher
Preferred
Experience using Right Capital
A good understanding of student loans, debt products, credit, and home buying
Ability to give presentations to large audiences or develop written content that can communicate complex financial topics in an easy to understand manner
