Lockton is seeking a Central Billing Associate to manage invoicing agency bill premiums for their Commercial Insurance Division. The role involves ensuring correct coding, liaising with various departments, and assisting with special projects while maintaining confidentiality of information.

Responsibilities

Invoice all premiums as directed by the Commercial Insurance division

Confirm correct coding in the Nexsure system to avoid production errors

Discuss potential problems with the Billing Supervisor or Accounting Manager

Forward appropriate documents to Accounting Department

Forward appropriate documents to Surplus Lines Department

Act as the liaison between Lockton associates and contract markets to research and resolve discrepancies

Assist with other work-related duties and special projects as assigned

Protect the confidentiality of all information

Required

Associate's degree in business or related field, Accounting preferred; and/or equivalent education and experience

Demonstrate professional, tactful problem solving, analytical, and negotiation skills with personal presence to interface with decision makers

Demonstrate an understanding of when to proceed alone and when to seek assistance

Ability to use office equipment such as computer terminal and keyboard, calculator, copier, and facsimile machine

Ability to speak into and adequately hear voices from telephone equipment to conduct frequent two-way conversations in the performance of this position's duties

Firm, fluent grasp of the English language with excellent verbal, written, listening, and interpersonal skills to interact with individuals at all levels of life experience

Proficient in MS Excel required, Word experience a plus
