Responsibilities

Enterprise Process Standardization: Implement and maintain uniform processes, frameworks, and performance measures across underwriting, new business, and sales administration
Operating Model Development: Partner with business leaders to define forward-looking administrative models for Underwriting, New Business, and Sales Administration with 1-, 3- and 5-year horizons. Provide advisory input and help drive adoption of changes
Systems & Application Alignment: Collaborate with technology, operations, and business leaders to align processes across mainframe systems, enterprise applications, and integration points
Continuous Improvement Leadership: Apply Lean, Six Sigma, and related methodologies to drive measurable cost, quality, and efficiency improvements
Technology Use Cases: Identify and prioritize opportunities for applying RPA, AI, and related tools to optimize processes in acquisition and sales administration
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Facilitate alignment across departments, eliminate silos, and introduce enterprise best practices that improve speed, quality, and cost efficiency
Project & Portfolio Management: Establish and mature project identification, tracking, cost/benefit analysis, and postmortem reviews. Ensure project benefits are realized
Change Management: Lead change initiatives, engaging stakeholders and driving adoption of new processes and tools
Performance Measurement: Define KPIs, establish dashboards, and partner with IT to build reporting capabilities that support data-driven decision making
Executive Advisory: Provide recommendations and insights to senior leadership on process improvement initiatives and transformation efforts
Team Leadership: Directly manage 2–3 business analysts, setting priorities, mentoring, and ensuring quality deliverables
Budget Management: Develop business cases and cost/benefit analyses for transformational projects. Manage approved project budgets, ranging from hundreds of thousands to several million dollars, ensuring implementation within financial and operational targets

Required

Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred (MBA, MS)
10+ years in process improvement, operational excellence, or project management roles within insurance or related industries
5+ years of demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and manage small team
Strategic and systems thinking with ability to drive alignment across functions
Strong communication and presentation skills to senior audiences
Proficiency in continuous improvement and change management methodologies
Data-driven decision-making and KPI development
Ability to lead a small professional team while influencing broader enterprise initiatives
Strong understanding of mainframe systems, enterprise applications, and cross-platform process integration
Strong understanding of transformational technologies and industry best practices within the US Insurance market
Proven track record in continuous improvement methodologies and change management practices
Exceptional stakeholder management, communication, and influence skills across all organizational levels
Reliable and predictable attendance of your assigned shift
Ability to work designated hours based on the position specifications

Relevant certifications (Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, PMP) preferred
