Government Administration
Responsibilities
Oversees AS400 system operation and administration functions
Assists Application Analysts with application administration
Oversees payroll processing including application backups, coordination with city departments, file transfers to the bank, and reporting
Monitors and maintains system backups
Performs PC hardware and software troubleshooting
Installs new hardware and assists in disposal of obsolete equipment
Performs related work as required
Qualification
Required
High School diploma or G.E.D
At least twelve (12) hours/credits of coursework from an accredited technical school, college or university in the field of computers (PC)
At least six (6) months of experience in the operation and maintenance of a computer and the installation of hardware and software
Valid Texas Driver License. If applicant holds an out-of-state license, a State of Texas Driver License must be obtained within 6 months of employment
