Engineer
EOS Hospitality operates L’Ermitage Beverly Hills, a luxurious hotel that has been a staple in the area since 1975. The Engineer is responsible for the operation, maintenance, service, and repair of equipment, ensuring timely completion of maintenance requests and adherence to hotel standards.

Responsibilities
Adhere to L’Ermitage guidelines to ensure the health, safety and comfort of our team members and guests
Maintain and execute 5-star Forbes and 5 Diamonds AAA standards
Knowledge of proper chemical handling and disposal
Ability to prioritize tasks and comply with deadlines for work assignments
Utilize Proper Protective Equipment (PPE) as required and in accordance with property specific guidelines
Respond and attend to guest repair requests
Communicate with guests/customers/internal staff to resolve maintenance issues
Perform preventive maintenance on guest rooms, public areas, tools and equipment, including cleaning and lubrication
Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines
Carry equipment (e.g., tools, radio)
Identify, locate, and operate all shut-off valves for equipment and shut-offs for buildings
Maintain maintenance inventory and requisition parts and supplies as needed
Ensure each day’s activities and problems that occur are communicated to the other shifts using approved communication programs and standards
Display solid knowledge in the following categories: air conditioning and refrigeration, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, patching walls, painting, wall vinyl replacement, pneumatic/electronic systems and controls, carpentry and finish skills, kitchen equipment, vehicles, energy conservation, and/or general building management
Display solid knowledge and skill in the safe use of hand and power tools and other materials required to perform repair and maintenance tasks
Troubleshoot and perform repairs on to equipment and components commonly found within the property
Program TV's and perform general housekeeping and engineering-related duties
Assist with surface preparation and painting, minor drywall and wood trim repair, light bulb and A/C filter replacement and the complete and thorough clean-up of the painting or repair area
Use the Lockout/Tagout system before performing any maintenance work
Display working knowledge of all engineering computer programs related to preventative maintenance, energy management, and other systems, including devices that interact with such programs
Perform mid-level troubleshooting of hotel Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems
Display the ability to train and mentor other engineers (e.g., Engineer I)
Display ability to perform Engineer on Duty responsibilities, including readings, property walks, and communicating with guests

Ability to interpret manufacturer's literature for installation, preparation, use and upkeep of various materials and products used throughout the property
Knowledge of proper chemical handling and disposal
Ability to prioritize tasks and comply with deadlines for work assignments
Ability to frequently stand, walk, sit, stoop, twist, push, pull, and use power and hand tools
The employee must be able to lift or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift to 75 pounds
Preferred
Experience: 1-2 years of engineering support experience in hospitality is preferred
