Prepare and review GAAP and statutory financial reports for multiple divisions
Perform account reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial data
Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries and reporting
Support reinsurance accounting and related reporting requirements
Utilize Excel (formulas, pivot tables, lookups) for data analysis and reporting
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
4–5 years of accounting experience
Strong knowledge of GAAP compliance and statutory accounting
Proficiency in Excel (intermediate level: formulas, pivots, lookups)
Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
Preferred
CPA preferred
insurance industry experience highly preferred
Experience with PeopleSoft is a plus
