Responsibilities
Managing our CRM database and maintaining accurate and timely records
Identifying key targets and new business opportunities
Conducting extensive research on key targets
Developing and executing a prospecting strategy for key targets including collateral development, campaigns, etc
Participating in and supporting the deal/proposal development in collaboration with internal subject-matter experts (site tours, creative proposal writing and development, pricing strategy and financial modeling, etc.)
Supporting the contract process
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree required
Experience in a business development role in the food service management industry preferred
Desire to learn and grow within the role eventually progressing to a Director of Business Development within Compass Group
Ability to build and foster relationships with individuals at all levels both internally and externally
Ability to understand financials
Proficient computer skills (MS Office, CRM databases, excel, etc.)
High energy, positive attitude and excellent communication/presentation skills
Flexible and able to shift priorities with ease
Strong time management skills with the ability to multi-task
Resourceful and willing to take initiative to get things done
Excellent listening skills and a propensity for continual learning
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
