Human Resource Planning Specialist I
HL-GA Battery Company LLC is seeking a Human Resource Planning Specialist I to support their HR payroll team for expatriate payroll, tax, and benefits. The role involves administering compensation and benefits policies for international assignees and providing administrative support for business travelers.

Responsibilities
Submit monthly payroll data to the NA HR(North America Payroll) team by the 17 th of each month, incorporating grade-based deductions (company car, family phone plans) and applicable tax withholdings
Verify the accuracy of individual payroll data and manage monthly variances for international assignees
Review and process approvals/concurrences for expatriate housing lease agreements through the FSEM (Global Mobility System)
Ensure compliance with housing allowance limits by country and review the appropriateness of lease terms
Issue Letters of Invitation (LOI) for visas and provide required documentation for inbound and outbound business travelers
Business traveler invitations: issued for HQ, partner, and vendor visits/ Track travel periods and schedules
Support visa and related documentation verification
Ensure timely provision of information and support for smooth relocation and effective work
Compile weekly business travel statistics and submit comprehensive analytical reports to Headquarters
Maintain and organize visa status data for all employees to enable HR and relevant departments to efficiently manage visa compliance and monitoring
Support expatriates with visa applications, renewals, and extensions, providing necessary documentation and information to ensure smooth overseas assignments
Provide additional HR Planning support as requested by the HR Leader
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, or a related field
High attention to detail in managing payroll deductions and tax calculations
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret workforce and labor cost data
High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, data analysis, and chart creation
Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and data accuracy
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
Effective verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate data clearly to leadership
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Proactive problem-solving mindset with the ability to support leadership and business needs
Proficiency in using global HR systems (e.g., FSEM) and effective English communication skills
Bilingual proficiency in Korean and English required
Preferred
2 years of relevant experience in Human Resources, HR Planning, Workforce Planning, or HR Operations is preferred
Experience supporting headcount planning, labor cost analysis, or organizational structure management preferred
Experience working in a manufacturing, production, or high-growth operational environment preferred
Exposure to expatriate or global mobility support preferred
