Responsibilities
Maintain accurate and timely financial records for multiple entities, including store-level and corporate accounting as well as intercompany transactions
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports
Monitor and analyze all general ledger accounts to determine necessary accruals or other adjusting journal entries. Research account activity as needed
Assist with cash flow management and budgeting processes
Implement, document, and maintain adequate and effective internal controls, including controls over financial reporting
Assist with financial modeling and forecasting for new acquisitions and developments
Participate in process improvement initiatives that support the growth strategy, strong system of internal controls and operational excellence
Provide support and supporting documentation for tax return preparation and financial statement audits
Qualification
Required
Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
5+ years of accounting experience required
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, AppFolio, or similar)
Strong knowledge of US GAAP standards
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple entities and deadlines
Excellent communication skills for collaborating with internal teams and external partners
Preferred
CPA or progress toward certification preferred (not required)
