Clinical Deployment Specialist

Ampa is a pioneering neurotechnology startup developing brain stimulation technology to help eradicate depression. The Clinical Deployment Specialist will lead on-site deployments, training, and go-live support for Ampa’s advanced neuromodulation platform, ensuring successful system implementation and clinician readiness.

Responsibilities

Travel to client sites to support clinical deployment and go-live of Ampa systems
Partner with internal teams to ensure systems are properly installed, tested, and ready for clinical use
Serve as the on-site clinical expert during initial implementation, ensuring readiness across staff and workflows
Deliver hands-on training to clinical and technical staff on system operation, daily workflows, and patient treatment processes
Train physicians and providers on clinical use, treatment setup, and best practices (protocol specifics provided by Ampa)
Adapt training style to diverse audiences, delivering clear, confident, and professional clinical education

Qualification

Required

Clinical background strongly preferred (e.g., RN, LPN, neuro/psych technician, or other hands-on clinical role)
2+ years of experience in a clinical deployment, clinical training, or customer-facing medical device role
Proven experience supporting live clinical environments during system rollout or go-live
Strong communication skills with the ability to explain clinical and technical concepts to both medical and non-medical audiences
Highly professional, polished presence with physicians, clinic leadership, and healthcare staff
Self-directed and comfortable working independently in a travel-heavy role
Willingness to travel frequently (50–70%+), including occasional short-notice travel

Preferred

Experience with neuromodulation, interventional psychiatry, or other device-enabled clinical therapies
Familiarity with FDA-regulated medical devices
Experience working in a startup or fast-growth healthcare environment
