Responsibilities
Oversee end-to-end payroll processing for salaried and hourly employees
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations
Review and approve payroll reports, tax filings, and reconciliations
Partner closely with HR and Finance on benefits, timekeeping, and employee data
Lead payroll audits and support internal and external reviews
Identify opportunities to improve processes, controls, and systems
Qualification
Required
4+ years of payroll experience
Strong knowledge of payroll laws, tax regulations, and compliance
Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop team members
High level of accuracy, discretion, and attention to detail
Experience with payroll systems and advanced Excel skills
Preferred
Nonprofit or mission-driven organization experience is a plus
