Low Voltage Test Engineer, Displays
Tesla’s Test team is seeking a Display Test Engineer to lead the validation of their industry-defining display systems. The role involves developing test plans, executing validation procedures, and managing the testing lifecycle to ensure high performance and reliability of the displays.

Responsibilities
Test and validate Tesla’s Display designs before they hit production
Collaborate with design and reliability teams to root cause failures
Develop and maintain automation-focused test software to streamline execution, data collection and data analysis
Manage and execute tests from initial setup and instrumentation through to completion, troubleshooting issues as they arise
Design test plans to evaluate the impact of design decisions and make recommendations on the final vehicle design
Qualification
Required
Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent experience
Strong electrical first principles skills
Solid understanding of display technologies, including module construction, manufacturing processes (frontend/backend), display reliability, and electronics systems
Proficient in Python
Proficient in using boards; Jetson Nanos, Raspberry Pis, etc
Eagerness to be hands-on, understanding how to interact with a system and automate repeatable tasks
