Hope & Main is Rhode Island’s premier food business incubator, and they are seeking an Entrepreneurship Program Manager to support the onboarding of new members and promote their incubation program. The EPM will manage communication with prospective members, track performance metrics, and assist in organizing educational programming to foster a collaborative network for food start-ups.

Responsibilities

Promote Hope & Main’s incubation program and move prospective entrepreneurs through the recruitment and onboarding process. Working with the Director of Incubation, ensure smooth and timely progression through the onboarding process for each Member

Hold initial intake sessions with prospective Members

Keep membership prospects engaged by developing a custom schedule of communication and check-ins including application updates, clarifying next steps, and sharing upcoming events and news from Hope & Main as well as the food industry at large

Assist with and maintain a schedule of meetings and communication with prospects. Circulate materials related to the core business processes Hope & Main utilizes in onboarding and member support

Maintain prospect database through our CRM, keeping organized, complete, and up-to-date records

Assist the Director of Incubation to promote and develop materials for both remote and in-person classes including Hope & Main’s First Course, Onboarding Cohort, and ad-hoc education programming. Coordinate and circulate class logistics including meeting links presentation materials and course pre and post-surveys

Track KPIs (key performance indicators) and related analytics to generate reports and analyses of Members’ performance and growth

Provide tours of Hope & Main facilities in Providence and Warren as required in response to inquiries

Occasionally attend after-hours events on nights and weekends

Other duties as required in a fast-paced start-up led by a small team that often multi-tasks

Required

Bilingual Spanish Speaker required

Must have front-line relationship management/customer interface experience, i.e., in service and/or sales

Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, high-energy environment is required

Working knowledge of social media and communication platforms. Web-publishing experience is a plus

Exceptional at relationship and community building

Very comfortable with networking, service, promotion, and sales

Must be proficient in both Microsoft Office and Google Drive suites

Preferred

Experience with virtual event/webinar/content hosting platforms including Zoom Meetings, webinar hosting platforms, Google Meet, etc

Broad knowledge of the food business and experience in a fast-paced, innovative, and growing food or food-related enterprise

Bachelor's degree preferred but not required. Preferably in business, finance, marketing, accounting, organizational behavior, communication, entrepreneurship, or a related area
