Responsibilities

Manage the front desk of the facility for ~20 hours a week
Assist employees with phone, e-mail and in-person inquiries
Process applications for Duke Fitness Club memberships including enrolling, making changes, processing cancellations, and collecting payments from members
Assist with mail operations for all LFL staff
Assist employees with incentive purchases from the LFL Store. Inventory all LFL store supplies available for purchase by customers
Conduct small, detail oriented projects as assigned by the various LFL managers
Complete data entry for various projects including but not limited to: Health Assessment screenings, Duke Fitness Club transactions, Nutrition/Fitness consultations, and budgeting
Update internal and external forms for informational use about LFL programming
Prepare educational and informational handouts for all LFL programs on an as needed basis
Assist LFL staff with other programming needs as assigned

Required

Work requires knowledge of basic mathematical, research and communications principles normally acquired through two years of postsecondary education
Work generally requires three years of clerical or research experience to acquire skills in administrative or project research responsibilities as well as accepted office organization, communications and research practices
A bachelor's degree in a field of study directly related to the specific position may be substituted for the education and two years of the experience requirement
Computer literacy in Windows and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Basic mathematical principles
Strong attention to detail
Strong written & oral communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills
Ability to multi-task
An upbeat and energetic personality
A passion for health and wellness and a desire to help others achieve their goals
