Responsibilities

Act as Senior Transportation Engineer, for the emergency projects to ensure the assigned projects are delivered within approved cost, scope, and schedule
Plan and coordinates activities of the Project Development Team (PDT) in the delivery of Emergency Director's Order projects
Develops project work plans utilizing the Project Resource Schedule Management (PRSM), AMS advantage tools
Monitor and provide direction and support to construction, budgets, programming and other functional units to resolve any financial issues that may occur during each phase of the project from initiation to closeout
Work closely with Major damage Coordinator (MDC) on renewal of the Damage Assessment Forms (OAF) and with PMs on time extension requests on 131 projects
Provide support to programming and Project Management on 131 and 150 programs
Hold PMs and functional managers accountable for completing the milestones in a timely manner and within the assigned resources

Required

Possession of a valid certificate of registration as a Civil Engineer issued by the California State Board of Registration for Professional Engineers is required
When driving a state vehicle, a valid class C driver's license is required
Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) is required
Describe your experience strategic planning and project development with a diverse team of stakeholders
Describe your experience preparing clear communication and method(s) did you use and how did you determine if it was effective
Describe your experience setting priorities and identifying needs and course of action; working independently and collaboratively
Describe your experience in managing and adapting emergency responses
Describe your experience responding to complaints and providing customer service
Possession of Minimum Qualifications will be verified prior to interview and/or appointment

Unofficial, original, or official sealed transcripts will be accepted and may be required upon appointment
Applicants with foreign transcripts/degrees must provide a transcript/degree U.S. equivalency report evaluation that indicates the number of units and degree to which the foreign coursework is equivalent
