Data Systems Desk Support Coordinator

Volunteers of America Los Angeles is a non-profit human services organization committed to serving people in need. The Data Systems Desk Support Coordinator provides technical phone support for department customers, manages Data Systems service requests, and offers general office support for the CQI Department.

Responsibilities

Responds to Data Systems Service Requests via telephone, e-mails, and service tickets
Provides Data Systems Help Desk replies to questions / Service Requests accordingly and for complex issues, triages the call to appropriate Business Systems Analysts for resolution
Provide administrative services including creating accounts and changing passwords, troubleshooting issues, and triaging issues
Communicate via emails, phone, and meeting; to assist users and relay project statuses
Prepare needed documents for Data Systems projects
Maintains Data Systems files and other related documents
Filing and assisting other CQI staff when required
Data Systems Help Desk operation
Maintains Data Systems requests, coordinates with business research analysts, to ensure service needs are met
Maintains Data Systems accounts and password requests. Makes changes to system workflow when needed
Triage for Data Systems, handles incoming Data Systems Service Requests
Coordinates with programs to maintain and update staffing and related programs for Data Systems projects
Coordinates staff training and administrative events
Other duties as required and is subject to change at any time

Qualification

Help Desk SupportData Systems ManagementBilingual (English/Spanish)Office AdministrationCommunication Skills

Required

Must be able to pass a fingerprint clearance, background check, including criminal history, personal references, employment and education verifications
Valid California driver license and access to dependable transportation with adequate insurance
High School Diploma or GED
3 years of office and/or clerical experience; coursework or a formal degree or certification in Business Administration or related discipline can be combined with relevant experience to meet the time requirement

Preferred

Working towards a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field
Prior help desk experience preferable
Bilingual in English and Spanish (written and verbal)
