This role involves managing warranty processes, ensuring maximum reimbursement from manufacturers, and connecting technical expertise with policy compliance while keeping customers informed.

Responsibilities

Reviewing and processing warranty and parts claims accurately and promptly, ensuring all necessary job details are captured

Opening, authorizing, and reviewing warranty work orders

Following up on rejected or disputed claims to recover eligible warranty costs

Maintaining current knowledge of warranty policies, procedures, and documentation via literature and an up-to-date service library

Acting as the go-to resource for coworkers and customers with warranty-related questions or requests

Ensuring all warranty documentation is complete, clear, and submitted in a timely manner

Interpreting and applying vendor warranty policies across all relevant teams

Supporting a safe, productive work environment and performing other assigned duties as needed

Required

At least 5 years of experience as a dealership technician with a strong understanding of warranty work

Familiarity with Outlook, Word, Excel, and the ability to learn new computer programs
