Responsibilities

Lead and execute data migration activities into the new environment

Recreate and validate data connections across systems

Rebuild tables and data structures to support business needs

Design, develop, and optimize ETL pipelines

Serve as a liaison between technical teams and leadership to ensure alignment on data strategy and priorities

Provide mentorship and guidance to other team members

Contribute to long-term data architecture planning and implementation

Support the development of scalable data infrastructure to enable major initiatives

Required

7–10+ years of experience in a data engineering, data architecture, or related technical role

At least 3 years of experience leading or managing technical teams (formal or informal leadership accepted)

Advanced SQL expertise, including complex joins and daily hands-on query development

Strong Python scripting experience

Experience with data processing frameworks

Proficiency with ETL tools (e.g., Apache tools, PySpark, AWS Glue; specific tools not required)

Experience with data warehousing and data lake environments

Familiarity with platforms such as Snowflake, Redshift, or similar technologies

Experience using GitHub or GitLab for project management and version control

Exposure to data visualization tools and concepts
