Design and build systems that sit at the intersection of AI and developer infrastructure
Create novel data structures and embedding systems
Integrate with the modern AI coding stack
Develop infrastructure that is both intelligent and performant
Shape technical direction with significant autonomy
Execute on any goal or idea without constraint
Qualification
Required
BS in Computer Science with a specialization in AI/ML and 1+ years of industry experience, or MS in Machine Learning/AI
Strong systems programming background with demonstrated ability to optimize for performance, storage, and efficiency
Experience with distributed systems, content-addressable storage, or related infrastructure
Familiarity with ML/AI systems, particularly embedding models or LLM integration
Track record of building developer-facing tools, IDE extensions, or language infrastructure
Preferred
You've studied or contributed to version control systems, collaborative editing, or CRDTs
Experience with code understanding, semantic analysis, or codebase embedding models
Background in building products that integrate with the AI coding ecosystem (Copilot, Cursor, Cline, agentic frameworks)
You've shipped production systems that work with LLM APIs at scale
