7Seventy Recruiting is seeking a Finance Operations Analyst who will report to the Finance Reporting Manager. This role focuses on analyzing and improving financial operations, including budgeting, financial reporting, and operational process improvement within the Finance department.

Information Services

Responsibilities

Analyze Finance department processes to identify inefficiencies, risks, and opportunities for improvement
Support strategic decision-making by analyzing financial data, reports, and projections
Prepare standard and ad-hoc financial reports for internal stakeholders
Assist with monthly financial reporting, variance analysis, and compliance activities
Support review of monthly trial balances, reconciliations, and account trends prior to financial reporting
Assist with audits and year-end financial activities as needed
Provide financial analysis and forecasts to support annual budget preparation
Collaborate with programmatic and operational teams to improve Finance department workflows
Support day-to-day Finance operations, including data analysis, reporting, and cross-department communication

Required

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
At least 3 years of experience working in an accounting or finance environment
Experience with ERP systems such as Sage Intacct, Microsoft Dynamics, Oracle, or similar
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
Ability to explain financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, multi-entity organization
Strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred

Experience with reporting and analytics tools such as Excel, Power BI, or Tableau
Prior experience working in a nonprofit organization
