Responsibilities
Architect and optimize enterprise-scale data warehouses using Snowflake (or similar cloud platforms) to handle massive transactional and analytical workloads
Own ETL/ELT strategies: Ingest, transform, and orchestrate data from diverse sources like Oracle Simphony POS, financial systems, and third-party APIs
Craft high-performance SQL queries, dimensional models, and stored procedures for flawless data accuracy and scalability
Build executive BI dashboards and self-service tools with Power BI, Tableau, or Looker to turn complex data into strategic insights
Develop robust Python and JavaScript scripts for automation, monitoring, and seamless integrations
Design secure RESTful APIs and event-driven connections to link internal systems with external partners
Lead Oracle Simphony integrations (including OSDM Plugin) for reliable, auditable data flows
Collaborate as a technical bridge between IT, Finance, Operations, and vendors to scope projects and deliver results
Mentor junior talent, enforce best practices, and maintain top-tier documentation and data governance
Drive projects from concept to completion: Define scopes, timelines, risks, and ensure on-time, on-budget success
Influence our data roadmap, pioneering enhancements in architecture and analytics
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience
10+ years in data warehouse design, ETL/ELT, and BI in enterprise settings
SQL mastery with relational and dimensional modeling expertise
Proven Snowflake (or equivalent) hands-on experience
Proficiency in ETL tools like Fivetran, Airbyte, Matillion, or dbt
Strong Python/JavaScript skills for production solutions
API design and integration know-how
Oracle Simphony experience, especially OSDM Plugin
BI tool expertise (Power BI, Tableau, Looker)
Deep knowledge of data governance, security, and compliance
Leadership in cross-functional projects with excellent communication skills
